Around the Table

Our Summer menu has been created for exactly these moments: bright drinks, generous salads, seasonal savouries and desserts made to be share or quietly kept all to yourself. 

Meanwhile, we are keeping some spring favourites, our Pan Riasted Seabass Fillet Risotto. inlcuding a little bloody mary twist served with samphire. Lobster season has arrived and so has our whole lobster specials, celebrating classic summer seafood flavours. Keep an eye on the specials board for our whole or half lobster specials. 

To welcome in the warmer weather, wehave also got some new salads on the menu, inlcuding a zesty chilled quinoa salad. Including a bright beetroot houmous, this plant based salad is made with ___ This is layered with crunchy __, avocado, toasted seeds and nuts with a lemon and olive oil dressing. 

Elsewhere in the kitchen (the unsung heroes of summer) you will find a new range of desserts. With al fresco lucnhes, beach days and impromptu supper plans in mind, our tangy and gently sweet Salcombe 'Quay' Lime Pie, layers of zesty lime, vanilla cream and a buttery biscuit base. But is you are craving seasonal berries South Sands Summer Fruit Pavlova, layered with chantilly cream, delicate merigue, fresh raspberries and strawberries. 

And for the chocolate lovers (there is always one at every table) Kerryn's Chocolate Brownie is a new treat to discover, served with chocolate sauce and pistachio ice cream. Rich silky and indulgent, it is the kind of dessert that disappears quickly once the spoons come out.
