Choose from a selection of coffees, including silky lattes, rich espressos and chocolatey mochas. Cake pairs well with any hot drink, not just coffee, our recommendations include a pot of tea or a luxury hot chocolate complete with cream and marshmallows.

For your sweet treat pairing, our selection of fresh cakes changes frequently with one constant - they are all delicious. Take your coffee and cake on the terrace, by the fire or takeaway to enjoy on the beach.

Beach Bar

Early morning swims, dog walks, lounging on the beach, it’s all thirsty work. Refresh, recharge and take the time to soak in South Sands’ relaxed beach bar.

Cosy up inside with a best-seller accompanied by a mocktail or sip Espresso Martinis as you challenge your loved one to a board game. Even on chillier days you can storm watch from the bar and witness our dramatic landscape come to life.

Wine

At South Sands, wine is more than a list on our menu. It’s finding that perfect pairing that pulls together your dining experience. It’s knowing that while the waves crash outside and the evening draws in, warmth and relaxation awaits inside, accompanied by our classic wines from the Loire, Burgundy, Rhone Valley and Bordeaux.

As an independent hotel, our wines are sourced from independent and family-owned suppliers including wines from Ellis Wines, established in 1822. We’re also delighted to promote truly exceptional sparkling wines from the Gusbourne Estate, some of which, in our opinion, are finer that most comparable champagnes.
