15 Years of South Sands

This past weekend, SUP enthusiasts and beachgoers gathered on South Sands Beach for the annual SUP the Creek event, a high-energy stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race that has become a must-see on the local calendar. 

The South Sands Sandcastle Competition, which is part of the Salcombe Town Regatta, is always one of the highlights of our summer season. Despite the relentless rain that accompanied the event this year, the enthusiasm and creativity of the participants shone through, proving that a little weather couldn’t dampen the spirits of our competitors.
