We love dogs at South Sands. This is our favorite time of year that there is usually an influx of muddy, soggy, waggy tailed four legged friends joining their owners for a holiday in Salcombe. South Sands beach, right in front of the hotel is dog friendly now all day.

You will often be lucky enough to have the beach to yourselves and conveniently it is a super safe beach for dogs to play in and out of the water.

Our reception always has towels ready to help dry your doggos after a splash around, they can warm up in front of the fire and even purchase a drying robe from Ruff and Tumble (pictured by Bob below!). If you forget your toys - we have plenty.
