Get ready for the Salcombe Gin Sprint Triathlon, one of the first triathlons in the picturesque seaside town of Salcombe.
This exciting event will test your endurance as you swim, cycle, and run through the scenic local villages of Salcombe, Hope, and Galmpton. Starting from North Sands, participants will dive into a 700m swim in the bay before tackling the challenging bike course, featuring undulating routes through the stunning South Hams countryside.
Expect steep inclines and thrilling downhill sections as you pass through Inner and Outer Hope, culminating in a demanding ascent to Malborough and an exhilarating finish along the escarpment from Marlborough to North Sands.
The run will take you along a trail-type route into the valley behind North Sands, with a gentle ascent to Lower Collaton, and a winding track back to North Sands.
Whether you're a first-time TRI participant or a seasoned pro, all levels, abilities, and ages are welcome.
